Stone and Sky sits above the Red River Gorge with nothing in view but trees, rock and sky. A west-facing wall of windows catches every sunset, and you will not see another home from the back patio.
Built with care
Custom kitchen cabinets, stone countertops, tiled showers and beautiful floors throughout. Bedrooms are generous, each with its own Roku smart TV and ample closet space. Every bed has a Casper mattress and Casper pillows.
The space
Downstairs: a queen bedroom, a queen-over-queen bunk room, and a bathroom with dual vanities and a 6-foot soaking tub. Upstairs: a king primary suite with a tiled walk-in shower and a loft with west-facing windows, perfect for coffee at sunrise or watching the light fade over the gorge. The living room has a gas fireplace, a large TV and a leather couch.
The kitchen
Fully custom with an oversized sink, dishwasher, range, microwave, coffee maker (K-cups or grounds), blender and air fryer. Premium stainless cookware, a Henckels knife block and place settings for 12.
Outside
A screened porch with a hot tub and seating for six looks down to the lake and across to the Maverick wall. You can see the anchors on five routes from the hot tub. Rocking chairs wait on the deck for a slow morning, and a park-style BBQ grill is ready for dinner.
For climbers
The approach to the Maverick and Nilbog areas is about 3 minutes on foot. The Motherlode top parking lot is under 15 minutes by car. The cabin sits above the Cave Fork recreational preserve recently acquired by the Red River Gorge Climbers' Coalition.
Dark sky
No light pollution. On a clear night you can see the Milky Way with the naked eye. Most nights the only sounds are crickets and birds.
Stay connected
Unlimited Starlink Wi-Fi covers the whole cabin, so video calls and streaming work at the same time. An on-demand water heater means hot water for everyone after a long day on the rock.

Koops General Store and Marathon gas station 6 minutes. Red Point BBQ under 15 minutes. Miguel's 17 minutes.

House rules
- No smoking anywhere on the property.
- Well-behaved pets are welcome with a $500 pet fee, arranged after booking.
- Quiet hours are 10 pm to 6 am.
- Maximum 8 guests.
- Guests are responsible for damage beyond normal wear, charged to the card on file after checkout.
- The road in is gravel with a steep hill on the way out.
- Most cars make it in good weather, and AWD or 4x4 is required when it is icy or snowy.
